The Greatest Revolution In The World Is To Preserve Joy

The greatest revolution in the world is to preserve joy

In a world that encourages you to hate, it is a true revolution to preserve joy and self-love. It is the best way to raise the flag for our way of life, for our non-compliance in the face of injustice; leave our mark with our smiles, hugs and warm attention to all who need it.

We usually question ourselves the other way around: everything I am is not good enough for anything. I’m not enough for what is required of me. I’m not attractive enough, I’m not a good enough mother, I’ll never make it; that’s what they say and what I think. Rebel against all discomfort and announce a revolution to preserve joy. Smile, it confuses people who hope that you will be accompanied by grief.

With so many contradictory messages and uncertainties, we are tempted to hate ourselves. We hate our existence because it seems that we are not free to practice it freely. But the more you hate yourself, the more reason you give to the people who want you to do it. It is time to question everything that has led us to hate ourselves and feel guilty. It is time to question the sorrow of forming a revolution that can preserve joy.

Get out of the self-imposed prison of pain and suffering, where all the faults of the past, unattainable demands and withers as well as hurtful guilt exist. In any case, we will never be able to be perfect, and it is nowhere near the worst that can happen. The worst thing is to lose joy and pride because you think you are not good enough, and the price you pay for it is to feel forever indebted and like a failure.

Sometimes we believe that all our suffering will be rewarded, that some supernatural force will put everything in place and reward us with what we deserve. We have suffered a lot, we continue to feel bad and we believe that it is the duty of the universe to save us. It is the illogical divine reward.

Happiness will not come as a reward for your suffering. It will come from your ability to provide kind words and a compassionate smile to someone who is going through a difficult period.

Joy and positivity are contagious. The attitude of the eternal martyr will not help you or anyone close to you. It is your responsibility to leave this unpleasant dynamic. Ask for help, express yourself, fight for something you want and try to change your circumstances.

It’s not about shouldering all the guilt of the society you are in. It’s about being aware of the vast amount of harmful messages that exist around us, which encourage aggression, selfishness, bad morals and uncontrolled consumerism. You are an active part of your world, and must therefore set boundaries.

Living in freedom implies accepting rights and obligations, but not worthless demands, much less if they do not give you anything. Choose everything that makes you feel good and does not hurt anyone. So simple, so effective.

You can carry out a minor revolution in the world. You can show that despite all the bad you have experienced, you insist on unconditional acceptance of yourself, devotion to things that really matter to you and the absence of internalizing stereotypes and stigmas that do not belong to you.

Work on loving yourself and not suffering more than necessary. These types of individual revolutions are those that cause greater impact than the people we meet.
